NINJA Physics in OpenSim SVN trunk N Lin 2008-12-28I am happy to report that NINJA Physics is included in OpenSim's SVN trunk as of r7875, so update your repository and it should be available.
The GForge project will continue to be a testbed for experimental ideas and a repository for demo data.
Much work remains to be done, and I look forward to working further with the community on this new feature.

Easier to use joints N Lin 2008-12-26The NINJA Physics patch has been updated. See the SVN repository, in the patches/r7872 directory.
The most visible change is that error reporting is no longer done on the region console; it is done in-world using the same mechanism as script errors. So if a joint cannot be created (e.g. due to mistyped names), that joint object in-world will show a warning icon. This makes debugging joints much... |

The NINJA Physics extensions to OpenSim
aim to bring Networked INteractive
Jointed Assemblies (NINJAs) to OpenSim.
This will allow wheeled vehicles,
ragdolls, and mechanical/robotic
assemblies to be interactively built
within the standard viewer and
controllable through scripting.
This project was formerly called Physics
With Joints.
